Brings back that nostalgic drive in experience. Too many people smoking weed and other drugs. Couldn't enjoy the movies with my children outside of the vehicle. Perfect example of how morons can ruin a good thing. Really weed and Meth at a kids movie!

A unique and fun place that is different and a great atmosphere for kids and adults. The kids have a large park that will keep them entertained for hours. The prices at the concession aren't that bad. My ultimate favorite is the deep fried pickles. You can also buy hand sanitizer and bug spray. The prices for movies as well are pretty decent given the fact that you will get two movies in one night. Take time go there and enjoy the night it is well worth it

Had a great time but the staff isnt the greatest. Had someone argue with me when i asked them to turn off their highbeams because the staff werent around. Saw them later taking a puff from someones car. Pretty funny but unprofessional.

I would give it 5 stars if the washrooms were improved. Aside from that this place is a gem. Love the old school theme, traditional playground and you can't beat the price.
It's been 10+ years that we have been coming here and we hope to be able enjoy the 5 Drive-in for many more years to come.

I keep going back because there really isn't anywhere else close by to see a drive in these days . It's always a fun time even though there are things that could use improving.
Top of the list: the bathrooms. Usually no toilet paper or soap or anything to dry your hands with, but also they are so smelly and dirty!!! The porta potties on site are cleaner.
There should also be rules about letting cars in once the movie has started. If they need to extend the time between movies to allow for people to come and go so be it. It is so distracting to try to watch a movie with people driving around looking for spots for the first 20 min.
Overall I will go again, as options are limited.
Suggestion: developing an app to listen to the movie without needing to use the car stereo would be good. On warm nights it's nice to sit outside but none of the speakers are loud enough to hear. The ability to Bluetooth to a speaker or listen through the phone would be nice.

Great Location Right On The Oakville & Mississauga Border. Pricing Is Fair. Only Drawbacks Are The Screens Seem Small Compared To Some Other Drive-Ins. It's Recommended To Arrive Early For Parking Especially On Their Busier Nights.

Hands down a great experience to try out, only reason for a 4 star is the volume of the move wasn't loud and you could also hear the movies from the other screen. If your planing to be in the back of your pickup truck or out with lawn chairs bring a portable radio to stream the station!

The customer service is 5 star. The team is friendly, cordial and easy to approach. We are regulars there in the summer (visit once a month atleast) The only serious issue is they need to update the washrooms, i think they are from the original 70s. You will have a blast with your family and or friends.

Always a wonderful place to go.

Even during the pandemic, they've opened in a safe way. During regular times, concessions are great.
Bathrooms maybe need some more attention!

Great experience for couples, families and friends. I love going here for it's atmosphere. Four movie nights are the best. Parking is a little confusing when it is a packed night. The food is okay but I usually will eat before coming here to avoid spending money. I will say though that it is annoying when you are watching the movie with the trunk open and people are smoking around.

Prices are reasonable. Comparable to other movie theaters. Screen was smaller than I expected but that's okay :) they also didn't have the items they listed in their menu but was disappointing, but during COVID It is understandable. But the food we did get was good. My only complaints are that the bathrooms were not very clean and you have to hold the handle on the sink down with one hand to wash the other. That's not super sanitary. And if you happen to get a darker movie and the screen next to you is playing a brighter one it can be distracting if you're sitting in an area where both screens can be seen, but not world ending. My partner and I got to chatting with the fellow in the car next to us between movies so that was nice. It also felt good to crack open the windows and snuggle in our blankets in the car.

Great price for your buck.

Have bouncing castles in the summer..

Went here recently and it brought back many childhood memories. I suggest getting here early because we arrived 50 minutes before the movie and had to park pretty close to the back which meant the screen was very far away and took away from the experience. Another annoyance was other people constantly turning on their headlights during the movie. Why?! Definitely put a damper on trying to enjoy the movie. However, for the price you get more value than going to the theatres.
Honestly- just come here for a laid back movie night and don't turn on your headlights please.

Screen 1 - Quality was HORRIBLE for Pirates Movie, there were many dark scenes and it was EXTREMELY difficult to see the movie. This is not the first time I have experienced this type of thing. They should not play movies with a lot of dark scenes/ night scenes until they are able to improve the picture quality.

This Drive-in is close to the highway and super easy to get to from Toronto! The staff are very helpful and friendly. The concession has really good food, and service. Go early to get a good spot.

Left! Definitely a treat and change from the norm

Paid 30$ for two people one car. 2 movies.

Paid 30$ for two people one car. 2 movies.
wish the screens were brighter it s so difficult to see the movie
Also be prepared to be disrupted by late comers and people blinding the screens with their lights. Considering everything else is closed this was worth while.

Some of IF not the most rudest employees I've ever seen...end of the movies and several cars had battery issues..the staff literly told these unfortunate people to get bent, they REFUSED to assist them even though they actually ATVERTISE that they help with dead BATTERIES.. I couldn't believe the fowl language out of this one employee..long dirty hair under a ballcap..told the young guy to fxxx off and ask some other movie goers for help..

Also..stay clear of the consession stand..the septic tanks overflow and the stench is gut wrenching...i have no idea why the board of health allows this...and if you can bare the stench...dont wait for an announcement about the snack bar closing like before..seems they close when ever they want now without warning...

Used to love going at least once a month..even in the cooler weather..after this last experience..im not sure I'd return..especially after seeing such disrespectful staff....guess they forgot who pays their wages!

Absulotely love this place, especially on good summer nights :) get there early though, because sometimes the line up to get tickets is long right before a movie starts and you will want to give yourself enough time to set up before you have to turn off all car lights.

Great place to watch movies but beware the washrooms and concessions are filthy. Upon opening for saturday night the mens washroom looks as if i was not even cleaned from the night before. And the ladies washroom was in the same condition

Wish there were more drive ins, the nostalgic commercials, open air, playground and icees all make it great! still remember back in the day hooking up the aerial lol. would be nice if something could be done about smokers, yes its outdoors but doesnt make much difference if your right beside me and my kids, patch up ppl and move on from sensless. If not for health, save ure money.

It was great, I fell asleep because of how late it was but it's a great place. Bring some mosquito spray if you want to put the windows down... I neglected to think about them and regret it.

The 5 is not what it used to be. It's been years since I've been to this drive-in and I'm afraid this past Tuesday will be my very last. While the special pricing on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a double-feature is appealing (hence my maximum rating of two stars), the staff's general lack of care here makes going to a clean movie theatre all the more appealing.

The bathrooms in the Screen 1 lot were horrific and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks there was litter all over the floor, toilet paper clogging nearly every toilet, holes in the doors stuffed with toilet paper, feces smeared on one of the toilet seats, and a sad single soap dispenser filled with watered down soap to service all 4-5 sinks with poorly-working taps. If that's what the bathrooms look like, I'd hate to see the kitchen. (Needless to say, we skipped concessions.)

On top of the dirty facilities, the experience left something to be desired. The screen was too dark to see much during the movies' darker scenes, and it didn't help that there were headlights regularly shining on it (nothing was said to the owner of the vehicle whose lights were on for the last half hour of the second movie). It was also distracting to have new guests driving around and parking in the lot during the last 15-20 minutes of the first movie. If you love having high-beams in your mirrors while you're trying to watch a movie on a dim screen, maybe this place is for you, but it's certainly not for us.

Overall, a disappointing experience that sours positive memories of past visits. I'd be willing to give The 5 another shot if there was any indication that its management and staff would clean up their act (literally), but from the sound of other reviews, there's still a steady stream of business coming in despite glaring issues, so I remain doubtful that anything is likely to change.

First time at a drive in movie theatre, it was pretty cool experience! The concession stand definitely needs an upgrade though, looks very old and unsanitary...our candy was given to us frozen...

We love the drive in! Great for small kids who will sleep through the movie and give their parents a date night. Great for families with children of all ages. Also great for young adults and kid free nights as is evidenced by the number of those people attending. Playground for the kids. Concession stands with delicious goodies of all kinds (definitely more than just popcorn!). Only complaint is that the bathrooms on screen 2 are not always open and the port potties at that screen are always disgusting meaning a walk to screen one is necessary for bathrooms. Not ideal mid movie. Super helpful staff last time we went when our battery died (never happened before in the dozens of times we have gone!). They boosted us no problem.

Their policies are against Canadian business practice. VERY RUDE STAFF TOWARDS WOMEN...WOMEN BE AWARE!. The Polson Peir Drive in on 176 Cherry Street is worth the drive and way more organized and respectful.

This place is cool as hell believe me! I advise if it's a nice warm day that you head over an hour early to ensure you get the movies you want to watch. If you get there to late there is a gooooood chance your movie will be sold out and you'll be forced to watch something you never planned of watching -.- trust me. I'm speaking from experience
