We recently had 27 Entertainment at our wedding at Journeyman Distillery, and let me say Malcolm was an absolute beast! Seriously, everyone was dancing and having a great time. We partied until they kicked us out! On a serious note, Malcolm was super easy to work with via phone, text, and email. Even last minute changes on the day if he handled like a true professional! Thank you guys so much!
What a wonderful group of people!! 27 Entertainment was hired for lighting, DJ, and Videography for our wedding, and I couldn't have made a better choice. Our venue looked beautiful because of the lighting. Our DJ was SO much fun and did a wonderful job getting our guests out of their seats and on the dance floor. And I cant put into words the happiness I feel every time I watch our beautiful wedding video. They even went above and beyond and offered to make the CD of our ceremony music because Im technically challenged haha! These are the people to go with if you are looking for an unforgettable event!!
From start to finish our experience with 27 entertainment was AMAZING. We planned long distance and everyone was so accommodating and readily available to talk or answer questions. We planned everything with Jill- who could not have been any more helpful. She walked us through everything and made us feel very confident in our DJ company choice. I probably asked her for the same "most played" lists about 5 times and she would respond with no frustration. She paired us with Dan who fit our personalities PERFECTLY! I'll be honest, I didn't really know what to expect but he blew us away! I, the bride, NEVER left the dance floor because I was having way too much fun. He truly kept the energetic vibe going. Kyle came as well and was very helpful. We said we wanted a "frat-tacular" experience that would keep people on the dance floor and they gave us that and so much more. All of the age groups were very pleased- 5 year olds up to 90 year olds. :) Everyone had a great time thanks to the amazing atmosphere Dan and Kyle presented. I used to plan weddings for multiple hotels and hands down 27 entertainment has blown any other DJ I have seen out of the water. Amazing experience all around.
We hired 27Entertainment for our wedding reception after meeting them and a few other DJ businesses, and it was clear that this company and crew is professional, organized and FUN. We worked personally with Matthew, Chris, Ray with some added dance moves from Sterling. It was truly a pleasure to talk about the wedding with Matthew. He provided so much enthusiasm and reassurance to get us excited about the the evening to come. I can be a bit neurotic (as I'm sure a lot of people planning a wedding are) and Matthew was so quick with responses to any questions or concerns I had about song selections timeline, etc. Our DJ for the night was Chris, who was wonderful on the mic, announcing everything throughout the night and keeping the evening on track. He and the other DJ, Ray, were just amazing with the music - there was no time when the dance floor was empty! Matthew and Sterling came later in the night to pump up the dance floor with their own dance moves. All four were such a hit. They got so many compliments from the guests, and personally I can't think of a better DJ company to have worked with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!
We booked 27 Entertainment for our July wedding and it was THE BEST decision we ever made. The videographers were so great the entire day. Matthew was our DJ and he absolutely killed it. Not only was the music exactly us, but he and his crew kept the party going until the very last song. Everyone we spoke to at the wedding wanted to know who these guys were. Everyone we worked with was so kind and definitely had our best interest in mind. We had a perfect day and can't thank these guys enough!
They were fantastic. Malcolm and Bryce were a lot of fun and kept everyone dancing all night. Loved how they kept the group involved. Definitely made our granddaughters wedding memorable.

We initially signed on for just their DJ service, they were highly recommended to us by another couple, and we are so happy that we chose them. As we continued to plan our wedding, unforeseen circumstances pointed in the direction of 27 Entrainment's Videography services. With the absence of a pivotal person in our wedding, we wanted to make sure we could capture everything, so that the day could be revisited. Not only was our videography request on very short notice, but it was almost like they had been on standby the whole time. AGAIN, we were taken back by how awesome everyone at 27 Entertainment was to work with. both videographers went above and beyond to capture the nuances of our wedding day. (hats off to them for working so close with our photographer, who was from a totally different company)

27entertainment did an outstanding job at my new bride and I's wedding and reception! We got the DJ and videography package and our expectations were blown away by the service they provided. Very polite, professional, and personable people to work with who were also down to have a great time, and their energy was contagious! Our videographer, John, was a pleasure to work with and captured all the fun of the party and guests and all our special moments! Our DJ's, Malcolm and Bryce, handled most of the major announcements and music and the crowd loved them! Highly recommend!

27 Entertainment did an amazing job for my wedding! The videographers were at the church in plenty of time to capture all of the right moments, they followed us to a park to take pictures (much patience on their part, we were at the park for a few hours). I hardly knew they were there but I know they captured all of the important moments of the big day.
Wade was our DJ and he is nothing but THE BEST! Played great dinner music for all ages, and when the time came, rocked out the whole reception hall. Everyone from my reception had such a great time, Wade gets the guests involved, he doesn't just "play music". We did not want the night to end with Wade DJ-ing! The uplighting that they provided really made the reception hall look fancy. I would recommend 27 Entertainment to anyone!
I have to say Dan and Sterling were amazing! Dan helped us so much at the rehearsal, ceremony and the reception! They kept the party going all night. If you want a great time, use these guys. You will not be disappointed.

Our November wedding was amazing. We had multiple vendors, family and friends that helped make our day perfect, but the one that made the night memorable for all was 27 Entertainment. Matthew was absolutely amazing from the moment we met to discuss what we wanted from a DJ at our wedding. He was full of energy and enthusiasm and it rubbed off on all that attended. The way they mixed and blended songs together, coupled with the enthusiastic participation on the dance floor kept the dance floor full and bumpin' all night long. From the beginning, Matthew was absolutely amazing! He was super responsive to our questions and concerns and always remained professional. Throughout the process of planning, Matthew made sure the focus was on us and our day. He was supportive of what we wanted and encouraged us to think about things we may have note otherwise thought about. He made the process so simple and efficient. Once our wedding day arrived, I was nervous about the music, as I am a control freak. Matthew and Sterling NAILED IT!!! The music they played was on point for us and our guests. In addition to the music, Matthew and Sterling's dance moves really helped to hype up our crowd. Our dance floor was never empty! It was awesome to see DJ's who were able to play the music and keep the energy up for the entire evening. They even went above and beyond by helping out with our ring toss (we did this instead of clanking glasses for us to kiss). Sterling kept running to make sure our guests always had the rings available. After our wedding, many people commented on how amazing the DJ's were. I cannot even count how many people told me the DJ's were the best they had seen and were so much fun. I was asked countless times who they worked for and how to get in touch with them. My wedding was 5/12/18, and people are STILL talking about how awesome the DJ's were. Where to start with 27 Entertainment ... :) BEST DJs EVER!!!! I could not be more pleased with the DJ service provided by Jill and Mike. If there's one thing that I think makes a wedding, it's the DJ-so I knew it was a bit of a splurge that was well worth it! I interviewed many DJs beforehand and did a lot of research but nothing stacked up to what 27 Entertainment brought to the table. Throughout the entire process, I was fortunate enough to work with Jill and have her help every step of the way. Jill was extremely knowledgable in the whole process and really provided me an outlet to create the wedding soundtrack of my dreams! Cannot thank her enough :)
27 entertainment did both my music for the ceremony and reception. The ceremony music was PERFECT and the reception music had EVERYBODY dancing all night long! All my guests came up to me or my family afterwards and kept telling us how awesome are DJ was! The guests loved the variety of music being played and how they kept the party energy going all night long.

Jacob and Bradley did an amazing job. They were highly professional and were able to adapt to anything that came their way. Friends and family complimented how great they were and how they kept the party going! Would not use 27 again. Did not play songs on bride and groom's playlist.
DJ played his own playlist and was not responsive to requests from wedding party, parents of groom, or guests. Mother of groom twice requested they change up the music to other genres for the variety of ages at reception and DJ argued. Unfortunately did not have the same experience as other reviews.
27 Entertainment was wonderful to work with. With just a few requests we provided they were able to come up with the perfect playlist. They truly made it a once in a lifetime experience.
My wife and I had the most amazing wedding!!! I'm certain that a HUGE reason it was such a fun party for my wife and I and ALL of our guests was because of the energy and excitement and FUN that the 27 Entertainment team delivered throughout the entire reception. The whole evening was fun exciting and filled with the PERFECT music at all the right times. The 27 Entertainment team also created a very special and amazing video that documented the most special moments from our wedding day. I had high expectations for what the video would be like. When we went to book our DJ for our wedding, we didn't have to research any other companies. We knew hands down that we were reserving 27 entertainment. We first met with Mike and Jill and instantly felt like we had known them for years. They were fun, knowledgeable, and easy going. We met with them the week before the wedding and went over our playlist and time line. They never rushed us and were so patient, as I had no idea what songs I wanted. We had the pleasure of having both of them as our djs on the day of our wedding. They played such a great variety of music for all of our guests. They catered to our special requests and had everyone dancing. Would recommend them over and over!!!!

DJ Matt is simply amazing! He has a way of creating an atmosphere that keeps the crowd engaged with each other and festive. DJ Matt seems to be able to read the group and responds well to the flow. 27 Entertainment was a breeze to work with! From our first meeting with Jill to our DJ Marc, everyone was awesome. The online planning tools make your wedding run smoothly. I liked the option of having them do our ceremony music since our venue could only run a playlist off an iPod. They also did the music for our cocktail hour, providing our guests with the smooth sounds we chose. We gave Marc a list of artists and he created the cocktail hour and dinner playlists to set the mood. They also allow you to have lists of must plays, maybe plays, and do not plays. We cut our reception short because a majority of our guests left early (it was a Friday), but those who stayed were on the dance floor until the very end. The uplighting in the venue brought an extra element of magic to our special day. The lighting during the party was a hit as well. Big thanks to Marc and his team!
If you don't have 27 Entertainment for your event, you're doing it wrong. Malcolm and his team have been amazing and put on such an amazing show. Everything they did completely surpassed our expectations. We had our wedding on March 19th, 2021 and had cancelled our original plans/venue due to pandemic restrictions. When communicating with our vendors about plan B and plan C, Malcolm just told us to tell him where to go and he'd bring the party no matter what! (And he certainly did!) We had a full dance floor the entire night even with a smaller guest list, it was hard to step away when the music was so good! Our guests all commented on how amazing our DJs were and how the night was such a blast. I'd give give them 100 stars if I could and will recommend them over and over again.

We hired them for a Sweet 16 party. From the very beginning Malcolm was very professional, and eager to identify my needs and help us to achieve our dream day. Our family has 2 different ethnicities and different types of music cultures, yet he found a way to mix it all together and make it work.
From the beginning to the end he kept the music rocking and our guests never left the dance floor the whole night. Malcolm even came down to the dance floor a few times to help lead in some of the dance moves. It was kind of like being at the club on a Saturday night, the music just blended into each other and never stopped. It was awesome! Money well spent. Great job!!!

My husband and I spent a lot of time researching bands and DJs for our November wedding. We came across 27 Entertainment and were impressed by all of the positive reviews that we read. My husband and I love to break it down on the dance floor, so we were looking for a DJ that would keep our party going. 27 Entertainment definitely did not disappoint! They played the exact music we were looking for that kept everyone dancing all night long! The two DJs even came out on the dance floor themselves to bust a few moves! It made the party that much more fun!! It was awesome to see everyone, DJs included, enjoying themselves. Their energy was incredible the entire reception! 27 Entertainment also did an amazing job of recognizing the songs and type of music would clear the dance floor a little, and would immediately switch gears to get people on the floor again. We had SO SO many compliments from our guests, saying 27 Entertainment were the best DJs they had ever seen!
We also hired 27 Entertainment for uplighting at our reception. Even with that, they did an awesome job of lighting up our venue beautifully. They matched the colors and theme perfectly.

When we met with Matthew, I felt we clicked with him right away and I m so glad we did because we could not have had anyone better than 27 Entertainment on our wedding day! Matthew had the dance floor going ALL night! He didn t just stand behind a table all night either he was out there with us, dancing, doing the splits Sterling, too! He partied with us, had fun with us, celebrated with us and there s no better feeling than having a DJ out there who was like one of our own friends and family having a good time and showing a good time. They played everything that we asked them to play, and they kept the party going! Our guests danced all night long-- wonderful addition to our wedding!

Matthew, Sterling and Brad were absolutely amazing. So many people said to us it was the best wedding they have been to and I strongly credit that to the awesome talent that came from 27 entertainment! We had such a fantastic time. One of our guests told us it was the best straight wedding she had ever been too and might even top the gay weddings she has gone to! The music was top notch. People danced the entire evening and if there was ever a lag (which i can t remember if that even happened!) Sterling and Matthew were on the floor pumping everyone up! They are terrific entertainers and dancers, were organized and kept us on track. Hire them, you won t regret it!! If not, you might end up like the wedding that was next door... dull. Our wedding was so fun we even had wedding crashers!! I give so much props to these guys! HIRE THEM.

These gentlemen DJ ed the wedding I was just in (tonight). Did a fantastic job! They were responsive to input from the bridal party and more importantly knew how to create an atmosphere that made everyone want to dance.
Malcolm (DJ MAL-SAUCE) absolutely came with the sauce. This dude knows how to jam, and knows how to research the party he is controlling. We came from Detroit to have our wedding in Western Michigan, and he knew exactly what would please our guests. He knows how to work the the crowd, and can adapt to ANY and ALL tastes, as we were a very rounded crowd in terms of tastes. BOOK MALCOLM FROM 27 ENT. NOW!
They DJ'd our reception and did the sound for our wedding. The whole service was great. Our only issue is that they run antenna microphones through a satellite-like system and anytime the connection was disrupted by someone standing in the way the sound would go out during the ceremony. They did their best to get around this issue but still had it go in and out a few times. Their MCing and DJing during the reception though was top notch. We had a storm which delayed our reception 1 hour and they did a great job of going with the flow since our schedule was shot. They do a wonderful job reading the crowd and listening to the desires of the bride, groom and their families.

Dan was our videographer, and we STILL get told by family and guests just how much fun they had on the dance floor at our wedding! I wish I could rate like, 4.8 stars instead of 4 for just a couple reasons below. We've even had friends request the playlist of music played at our wedding. My husband and I LOVE to dance, and we envisioned our wedding being a full on celebration - which 27e (through Dan) provided! We had the greatest time, and we could not have been happier with the reception party.
The ONLY couple things I can say that were slightly less than perfect are 1. that communication via email wasn't super reliable. I emailed a few times to get the DJ's food choice and to communicate day-of details without any reply, and 2. We had to use an online portal to create lists of songs we wanted played before the wedding, during dinner/cocktail hour, etc. The portal was easy to use, but during dinner, our first dance song was playing and some other random songs that I hadn't put on the "dinner" playlist. It was also a pretty extensive list, and I heard songs being repeated which I thought was weird. I ONLY noticed because I was the bride, and I knew what I had picked, but I don't think anyone else noticed. But I just wanted my darn songs played!

We had 27 Entertainment DJ for our wedding reception and they did a fantastic job. There was a last minute change-up in the music due to the bride (me) getting injured and the djs were so accommodating and found the exact song we wanted played for our entrance song at the reception. They played the songs we requested plus knew exactly what songs would get our crowd moving and on the dance floor. I was impressed and I always recommend them to my friends for any of their events.
These guys rock! Been to two weddings where they ve been the DJ and they had the most electric dance floor going. Cannot beat them in NWI or anywhere else for that matter!
I found 27 Entertainment and Wade Breitzke through our reception hall in Chesterton, and I couldn t have been happier with our decision. From the first time I spoke with him over the phone, he was a joy to work with and made sure we were completely happy with our decisions regarding the music we chose and what music we wanted to avoid. We met with him once, and immediately paid the deposit that day to lock in our wedding date, and thank goodness we did. We got to work on our music lists and Wade made sure he had all the music we requested before the big day. We bought the package that included uplighting, and he was a great help in deciding what colors would look best and what should be done, and he was right with everything he suggested. Everything looked fantastic. As for the reception itself, I have never had more fun at a wedding, party, or concert (however, I might be biased). The dance floor was packed the entire night and he got out on the floor with us a couple of times to get in on the fun. Everyone at the reception commented on how remarkable he was, and how they had an absolutely great time. Brett s cousin even got in contact with Wade to work her wedding a year away, that s how fantastic he was. I cannot overstate how much fun we had working with Wade, how much fun we had at the reception, and how thankful I am that I found him. He also had a videographer come with him to the reception and take video and he gladly gave us digital copies of everything he shot. He was so great that during our reception, my husbands boss asked him to provide the music for an upcoming business event, where he played our wedding song and dedicated it to the newlyweds, very thoughtful and I appreciated it. The only regret I have about the entire day is that the reception wasn t long enough!
Its been almost 4 years since our wedding, and I am still told (at other family member s weddings) that ours was by far the best, and I can honestly say Wade and 27 Entertainment had a significant part in that. Thanks Wade and 27 Entertainment, I want to get married again just to work with you!

Wade and his team are the absolute best! I consider myself extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to work with someone who is truly passionate about what they do. Every meeting we had leading up to our wedding, Wade was enthusiastic, professional and patient with all of our silly questions. Our first dance song was very unique (a reggae song we heard while visiting Hawaii) and he was able to edit it so it would be perfect for us to dance to. I love that our song is probably one that no other couple will have and it was made possible by 27E!

Amazing DJ! I chose 27E! because they were recommended to me by quite a few people. They had great prices, were fun to work with, and did a great job at our wedding. Our DJ checked in with me (Bride) to help keep us on track and was very charismatic and great with the crowd. We had a good group of folks dancing and I got a ton of compliments on DJ choice afterward.

There is NO ONE who brings the party like these guys! They know how to get everyone on the dance floor and will have tour grandma doing the wobble! I worked with Matt for my wedding in July of 2020. He was one of the best parts of the entire wedding. Him and his team member were the best DJs I have ever seen and everyone RAVED about them for weeks after the wedding (I can't wait for my friends to get married to use them again!!). Not only did Matt play amazing music, but he was responsive and flexible. Since we got married during the COVID pandemic, Matt was able to change our plan at the spur of the moments when I wanted to make my dance floor outside. There was never a dull moment but it was perfectly tasteful and fun at the same time. 10/10 would recommend. Just stop looking for other DJs and go book them now.... check one more thing off the endless list! :)

Just went to a wedding with Bryce and Malcolm and it was a blast!! They really captured the crowd and played songs that really kept the party going. They enticed people to stay on the dance floor. I live 9 hrs away from NWI, and whenever I was in town for wedding planning Matt always met up with me and made the planning easy. I was confident about our music for our wedding, there were no worries our doubts at all throughout the process. They showed up early (as they said they would), and did everything I asked. Matt and Sterling got the party going, they danced on the dance floor and made the evening a night to remember!! So many people at our reception said they wanted to book them for their kids' wedding one day, and my uncle even said that he just wanted to pay them to throw a party at his house because he enjoyed the music and dancing so much.
