Dope tintings very professional shop I've had 3 of my cars tinted there all came out perfect. Rico is very knowledgeable and has been doing his tinting business for a while. Very respectful cool guy just don't ask dumb questions meaning that his website may have the answer. No lowballing with this place because you want a cheap product you'll pay cheap you want a quality product you'll pay for what you get. Prices are fair!! "Just don't be cheap". Also Rico's customer service is great just treat someone the way you would wanted to be treated I've chopped it up with him good guy! Best place to get your car tinted hands down in my opinion!! So the work is great... tinting on car was as expected no complaints there. I've read lots of reviews and yes, rico's customer service isn't the greatest but it's a tint shop not a restaurant. You can't deny the work is good. My only complaint is that it was evident that lunch was eaten in my car while working as I found pieces of bread and some stains on my rear seat. I know it was done there because my car has roughly 2200 miles and never been eaten in. No biggie I'll clean it up. You go here for great tinting work not for the " customer service". Thanks for the work rico not so much the bread pieces and crumbs.

Rico and his team tinted the windows of my yoga studio and it came out exactly how we wanted it. He was a pleasure to work with...responsive, professional and flexible. His prices were competitive and the job was done in record time. From start to finish we couldn t have asked for a better experience.

I never went to get tint because I would have had to have gotten a return phone call in order to get an appointment. Left two voicemails on two separate days and no response.

Worst tint shop ever would recommend taking your car any other place. Poor customer service and shop owner isn't professional. He'll quote one price then once the jobs done charge another! Would give 0 stars if there was the option. Thanks dope tinting your the worst.

Rico does an amazing job and you can tell he really cares about his business. He has competitive pricing and a bunch of options for tinting. The place around the corner from me was more expensive and used cheaper tint. I drove 30 minutes to use him and happy I did. Highly recommended!

It has been about 8 months and o feel I can finally give an honest review. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!!!! My car looks fantastic and I have had no issues. I got them tinted originally for my infant and the sun blasting in. It is such a huge difference. 10/10 !!!

I had asked around as to where I should get my car tinted/wrapped and Someone recommended me to dope tinting. Very happy with the work that rico did on my challenger. I got my car tinted and also vinyl wrapped and it looks AMAZING. He is very friendly and professional, so the very few bad ratings on here I can't understand. But great work,timely, and great person. Would definitely go back again and also recommend to others!!

I called Rico on Friday with a ton of questions. He answered all of them and my decision was instantly made. I dropped the car off on Monday morning and he told me I could pick the car up later that afternoon. It was ready at the time he told me it would be. He did a phenomenal job!! An extremely satisfied customer.

I've gotten two cars tinted by 215 so far and it has never been anything less than perfect. I highly recommend them to all my friends that ask for a tint shop. To top it off they are incredibly professional and are willing to answer any questions you have.

I never had a business owner follow me out to the parking lot and threaten me and call me names, until now....this place is a joke. Stay away.

I was 9 minutes late to my appt, so I got scolded a bit b/c 9 minutes threw off his entire schedule but that's fine. I asked him will I get my car back around 1pm or 2pm instead of 12pm, which I understand, i was a bit late, he couldn't answer that.

Got worse from there, I told him I want to cancel, he said i won't get my refund, threw my car key at his door, called my car a PoS. So as I walked out, he follows me and calls me names.....lol great way to run a biz.
He is not cheap either, $250 for 4 doors and back window.

Oh, his claim to your deposit is illegal, my brothers are attorney's. Call you credit card company to dispute if he didn't deliver the service to you.

Had my 2015 Chevy Cruze tinted 2 years ago as soon as i bought it. 2 years later, no bubbles, not peeling. Very happy, just a word of advice, it is illegal to get your front windows tinted in NJ, and i am on my second ticket. Tickets are about $50. Even though it looks good and it really helps me driving at night, specially when most cars come with LED headlights from the dealer nowadays, my seats are black leather and the tint helps my seats stay cool in the summer and protect the leather, i am considering removing it. Unless I can find a way around it without getting pulled over every couple months.

Stopped in to make an appointment was told to stop back on Tuesday came in at 8 o clock store hours are like bankers hours left , came back later in the day then was told by a very ignorant and rude individual (not sure if he s the owner or just a worker ) that I would have to come back at a different time then after a brief discussion I was told to take my Business elsewhere! I wouldn t take a junkyard car there !

Owner is the most unprofessional individual I've every come across. I made an appointment and showed up and he snapped after 5 minutes of discussing tint and said "i'll give you a refund, i don't even want to do your tint" then angrily stating "you don't understand what you're talking about and are wasting my time ( 5 mins)". He then proceeded to curse at the computer for a few minutes before stating he had no cash in the store to refund me since i paid in cash and therefore would lose my deposit of 20.00. I left and he followed me out into the parking lot and attempted to stare me down as i drove away. Avoid this business.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR TINT! YOU WILL REGRET IT! Rico is by far the most unprofessional person in business. This guy will damage your car, blame you for it, tell you to leave, then act like he is a tough guy. He also makes threats and pretends to call his "boys" to come help him "take care" of someone. Just give the NJSP a call or the building owner and ask what kind of person this clown is.They are VERY aware of him and his history. Every bad review here is 100% true. This guy should NEVER be the person you speak with at any business. He needs someone else who isn't such a wannabe tough guy to run the front office. You will arrive to his insanely small front area where he has numerous tints displayed on the wall. After you see the options, he will then ask you what you want and tell you that he only has 3 options anyway. 35/20/5, that's it. He REALLY rushes you to pick a darkness. Then he will look at your car and make any excuse he can to not warranty the tint work. By this point you should leave, DO NOT GET TINTED HERE. If you get past this, he will give you a timeline to pick up your car. When you arrive be prepared cause he will then add another hour or more to finish. That's literally the least of the problems. When you finally do get your car he will ask you to take a look and ask him any questions you might have. This is where Rico goes into his tough guy routine. He gets VERY angry if you ask any questions. Mind you HE is the one who tells you to ask. It will only get worse from that point. BTW Rico will ask numerous times, "What did you say to me?" in an aggressive manner. Sadly he might not be smart enough to know that his headphones he refuses to take out of his ears might hinder his hearing when you are trying to speak to him. This guy needs to stick to being the tint jockey he is and let someone else deal with people spending the money he is obviously desperate for. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR TINT. DO NOT SPEND A DIME HERE, YOU WILL REGRET EVER DEALING WITH THIS PLACE AND THE CLOWN WHO WORKS HERE. If I could give negative stars for this place I would. GO SOMEWHERE THAT HAS A PLOTTER AND COMPUTER CUTS TINT. No real tint shops are still doing the cut to fit tint. Literally go anywhere else you can other then this place. DO NOT GET TINTED AT DOPE TINTING. The only DOPE you will find is the clown behind the counter.

My wife and I had Rico and his team tint our new Tesla. The job they did was AMAZING! Not a single blemish in the work. Rico responded with every question we had and he was always professional. We have other work we want done and we will be using Dope Tinting, for sure.

I had my car tinted by Dope Tintings. The entire process was informative and smooth. I wasn t sure what tint percentage I wanted to go with. Any questions I had were answered by a knowledgeable employee who described everything so I could properly understand and choose what was best for me. The tint I chose turned out awesome on the car and was exactly what I was looking for. I couldn t be more happy with the tint installation itself, perfectly cut edges and no bubbles. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get their car tinted! Personally, I will be coming back for any car I purchase in the future!!!

I wasn't afforded the opportunity to get any services because I questioned the price when I had multiple sources estimate $50-90 less for the same services. I asked why his price was so high and if he had a special or better type of tint and he began to get offended. I felt it was an honest question. I thenasked if he gave a military discount he said no. Firmly!
Then I asked if it was possible to pay cash and get a discount and he refused the job entirely, right about when I was ready to accept too.
It's apparent this business owner is doing well enough to refuse customers. He insulted any competition that was cheaper and insisted the price was for quality. Don't let his reply to my rating deter you.
This is the exact truth.

STAY AWAY!!! This was by far the worst experience I've ever come across. My car is brand new purchased with only 60mi on it, took it to get tinted at this shop and got it back with a serious number of scratches. Of course the guy attitude about it was horrible and he denies doing it then said to take him to court. My car still has the plastic inside of it from the dealership along with the mats and other things still brand new in plastic. Like seriously you fkd my new car up that i haven't owned for even a month yet and you not willing to take any ownership of it. I should've went to Autobahn in Atlantic City but like they say you get what you pay for especially dealing with certain people. I'd recommend going somewhere else to get windows tinted unless you want to deal with paying more money to get your vehicle buffed out from a million scratches on it. Just to think, had I never thought to look my car over since it was new I probably would've never known it happened.

Did an amazing job. Gave specific instructions to keep tint fresh and lifetime warrenty excellent job . Thanks again.

I called when they opened to book an appointment for front window window, $85 +tax. Got a next day appointment and was told to leave a $50 deposit to hold the appt by 6pm today. First I read the website deposit/appt rules and called back to ask a question about the disclaimer and said it was vague/in their favor to terminate the appt and keep the money (pasted below). Apparently questioning the process is Not allowed. He said he's delt with people like me before and he REFUSED to do business "with people like me".

Very disappointed with this company. I had my car windows tinted when this company was known as 215 Motoring in 2014. I held on to my receipt because of the lifetime warranty. It is now 2020 and the company has changed their name to Dope Tintings, but they are still the same original company but in a different location. I reached out to the company through their website for a warranty issue and new business quote (added another car to our household) and never got a response. I gave it about a week and called and was told that they never got an email and gave me the email address again and asked me to send pictures. Before hanging up, Ricco (spelling?) had asked me questions about cleaning the window and was more or less saying I used something to make it bubble. I rarely clean that window because of it being the back and the angle, but only used ammonia free products when it was cleaned. So I send another email with pictures of the windows, the glass cleaner we use and a picture of my receipt. Never got a response and after a week, I called again. Spoke with Ricco and he said he got the email and proceeded to tell me that my tint was not going to be covered under the warranty because the window was cleaned with something to make it bubble. He said it could be a car wash I took it to??? I wash my car and on occasion run it through a wash, but no one is in my car. I tell him this, I tell him what I use on all my cars windows that have tint and he still tells me that I or someone else is the cause of the bubbling and he will remove the tint at no cost, but I will be charged to replace it. He told me my other windows will eventually bubble too. It has been 6 years and the other windows are perfect. I nicely told him that he is saying I did something that I did not do and he is not standing by his work or warranty and that I will go somewhere else. So because of those reasons, I will take my business for my new car elsewhere, leave this review here and any other place I can find, tell everyone I know about my experience, and notify the BBB. It is unfortunate for me that I expect people to be like me and do what is right... causes disappointment and trust issues with companies that provide a service.

Owner is very rude! My tint was peeling off as soon as I went to take a look at the work and he initially told me that the tint has to dry. I stated how is it suppose to dry if it's hanging off the window. I was going to refer him more business but his attitude sucks so I strongly advise to stay away from this business. Owner needs an attitude adjustment.

215 Motoring is a well established tinting place. Rico is the man, easy to talk to and good customer service. He is also very knowledgeable and experienced at tinting and it shows in the work he does. Not to mention their prices are very competitive combined with warranty service. Rico has done 2 of my cars (my Acura TL, and my current BMW) and I wouldn't hesitate to bring all my cars to him. I highly recommend them and their new shop in NJ is sweet!

Really really love my tints on my Subaru and my gf's civic. Rico does a great job! Pricing is great too in my opinion. Service is always awesome. My friends and I have been going to Rico since he had his shop in NE Philly. I still drove to Jersey because I knew it would be worth it. Get your tints done by a professional like Rico!

Took my car to get tinted and he broke the rear defroster sensor off the rear window and tried to hide it with super glue then when I asked him he going to act like he didn t break it or put glue on it when it s glue on the defroster sensor and the tint have videos and pictures for prove and didnt want to make it right cause he knows he would have to replace the rear window shield for the defroster to work again

This is the 4th car I have taken to get tinted by Rico and his amazing crew.

The work is again outstanding, always done correctly the first time. Never had any issue with the tint fading, or peeling, or bubbling. Customer service has been great as well. You make your appointment and you will receive a call and email to confirm. I only go to the best to get my windows tinted, and whether is Philly or NJ, 215 IS THAT PLACE!

Don't go here ever. This guy harassed me because my car was "dirty" and didn't tell me to have my car cleaned before hand so blamed me for his shotty work and told me that he wanted me to pay him to fix the mistake that he made in the first place. this dude is absolutely terrible, rude the entire time, and absolutely the worst place I've ever gotten work done from ever. The bubbles and dirt that he left in my windows is my fault? no to mention he scratched my interior and left my car doors absolutely soaked. Go literally anywhere else.

Edit: the owner removes all negative stars because he wants his business to look like there's nothing wrong with how he runs it, and how he actually does a decent job.

My only complaint is that he wouldn't accept my feedback towards his website. There was a huge miscommunication on doing different shades of tint and everything went sour on the 3rd visit. On the first visit I came in expecting to pay for the 2nd cheapest tint because I knew I possibly couldn't get the cheapest tint because of my car and the disclaimer he has on his website that it's not for everyone. Once I arrive I immediately asked for the 2nd cheapest tint and set an appointment. He stated that that film can't go on my car and I needed to do the carbon tint for 250 or just the back for 180. He says that he mentioned that "different shade percentages cost more" but I didn't hear him say that nonetheless. After my questioning as to why I couldn't get the 2nd cheapest tint he made it seem as if the carbon was the only option I had for my car if I did the full. He said I could only to the 2nd cheapest if I did the back alone. I told him I'd think about it.
I came back a 2nd time to get the installation and decided to go with the carbon with full installation . Payed 180 of the 250 for the back at 25% and told him I set the appointment the following week to do the front.
I came back the following week for a 3rd time to do the front and told him I wanted 55% and that's when he said that it's 40 dollars more. So I came in expecting to pay 80 but now he was quoting 120. that wasn't in his original Quote and I asked questions why it's more so he says he said that it was 40 more the first day I stopped in the shop. I didn't hear that statement but I told him if that's his policy I'd pay the extra 40. Before I gave him my keys I told him my perspective of the situation and I wanted to provide feedback about dope tinting website which I tried to explain. From my point of view it looks like he was upselling me. I work in retail so I know the tactics. Didn't raise my voice once just tried to input feedback. I was trying to explain that as a customer like my self who is new to tinting, when I visit a website and see 4/5 different prices for tint that depends on the amount of carbon in the tint that I get to choose which one. He made it seem none of those prices matter and that the carbon or non carbon tints depends on the car. He says that he was giving me a better tint to help me because other shops would charge the same but for less carbon tint. I originally wanted the less carbon tint and because his prices online were so much less that's why I originally came in. I told him on his website I recommended that he simply put that tint choice is depended on type of car not at the buyers choice and that different percentage tint cost 40 dollars more. After our discussion and I told him I understood his standpoint he said I didn't understand and didn't want to work on my car so I left. I went to his competition across town and they price matched his quote price for the same exact carbon tint at the percentage I wanted which was 55%. I ended up paying 80 for the front instead of 120 which I would have paid at dope for the different shades. The situation was blown way out of proportion. Wish it could have been handled differently.

6 cars done by this company with zero problems. He stands by his work and tries to work with you. Great guy who I consider my friend any day and a pleasure to do business with. Today I drove from Maryland to NJ to have my tint done on a brand new car with 100% confidence. Show up on time, don't expect him to work in a junky car and know what you want ahead of time and you'll be good to go!

I have had my windows tinted before elsewhere but Dope Tinting was far better quality at a more reasonable price. The product and quality of installation exceeded my expectations. I'm very happy with my result and will go here again for sure. The owner was really helpful and professional.

My review is solely based on the level of customer service I received. Saturday I called to inquire about auto window tint. The guy answered the phone and it sounded as if he was talking to someone while he answered the phone, this happened twice intial reach out then setting up an appointment as well, then he said he could squeeze me in I said we could schedule for another time so he doesn't have to rush and the job be good. He took offense to this and ask me why would the job not be good I told him never mind and kept the booking. I called back and cancelled and went with another company. His attitude and customer service skills are terrible. I don't spend my money with someone who doesn't treat me with respect, he should learn how to answer a phone or hire someone with better customer service skills.

I have been tinting with Rico for the past 8 years and just brought another car to his shop, Dope Tintings. Top notch work and a consummate professional. I refer all my friends to him. Simply the best tinting in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area. Check it out, his work speaks for itself.
