I

Worst dealer so far.

Worst dealer so far.

I was looking for used car. I called to schedule appointment and was told the car was available. When I got there, car was sold day before. Though, they had similar other car for sale. Usually, I would not mind the switch. What got me was the dealer was trying to sell car with severe tire wear. I pointed out that to a saleperson that tires needs to be replaced and alignment completed. He didn't want to lower price of the vehicle or have the car serviced.

I understand there are sales tactics that car dealers want exploit with potential buyers but they should be mindful of safety of general public. Generally, dealers would slap cheap tires on vehicle and say "look car has new tires". Even though these tires perform not really well in snow/wet conditions. This dealer is oblivious to any kind of responsibility and accountability. They will push vehicle with bald tires to earn a sale. Don't they have any type of inspection? or they just don't care. I lean towards that they don't care.

Well, dealer didn't want to budge on the price to fix what I point out. So they brought another car that had 15k more miles but good tires, cheaper though. I was ok but vehicle had deep scratches through body. The sales person said, they had a guy and they can buff it out. Here's the deal, you can not buff out scratches that went thru clear coat, paint, primer to bare metal. At that point, I had enough. I thought to myself again, don't they inspect these cars.

The sales person pulled a report of the vehicles in the area and what they are selling for. He point out, these vehicles were the cheapest out of many available. He overlooked fact that these vehicles were the lowest quality and unsafe.

I left, I will never return to motor werks of barrington or any other motor werks. Business practises are just bad. Buyer beware. Avoid, avoid.
