They will not help you here. If you are a patient...

They will not help you here. If you are a patient as I was for 8 years and miss an appointment, they will drop your "case" and act like you've never been there before. I was diagnosed and on a very small amount of Zyprexa for 8 years and now they act like I don't need it anymore I guess. I made an appointment to be seen again and get back on my medicine (had only been off of it for a about a week) and was told that they could not help me, if I was just there to get my medicine, which is what I had been doing for the past 8 years. I did not do the therapy, just met with the psychiatrist every 6 months and got a 6 month supply of my medicine. They will kick you to the curb and leave you with no way of continued treatment. I am so scared that I will have an 'episode' some day and don't know what to do. I have called several times but no help. I was told it would be at least 3 months till I could even see someone that might give me my medicine again. Now I have to start all over like I've never even been there before. Needless to say I will be going somewhere else. Way to go Southwestern, after 8 years of loyalty it seems like you would have more respect for your patients.
