RENTERS BEWARE!!!!! I had the most deplorable experience with attempting to rent an apartment from Millbrook Pointe Apartments in Augusta, GA. Attached is a photo of the apartment building that they attempted to rent me. After going back and for with them about how unacceptable this building was, I was refunded my first months rent and deposit. However, they have refused to refund me the $100 administration fee. When I asked why I was not refunded for this fee, I was told by the manager that the fee was for the "office's time." Then another lady in the office told me that its a "lease term" fee. Ironic how you can be charged a lease term fee, but never sign a lease. I have left a voicemail for Melissa Jones (the regional manager) and sent an email to their corporate office (Brookside Properties), however I have yet to get a response. I am leaving this review to hopefully get a better explanation and to get my money back. This is completely unacceptable and the people in the office show absolutely no empathy or concern about this issue.
