Went here with my girlfriend in August 2020 while visiting Sibiu City.

It was definitely one of the nicest days we had there and I will tell you from the start that it definitely is worth paying the 25Lei entrance.

This is the biggest open air museum in Europe (as the news say at this time). It definitely is quite big and you should plan to spend here about 5-6 hours to visit about everything inside (even more if you like to stare and read everything).

We enjoyed the quietness and the old vibe that the museum offers. And also we enjoyed the fact that over there the temperature was lower than in the city (it was a really hot summer day).

If you plan to spend your day here, there are also a few restaurants where you can eat. We were lucky and had the opportunity to eat traditional food at an event that was organized inside the museum that day. We tried some Goulash which was really good, but these events aren't organized that often I guess, so you'll have to stick to the restaurant offerings.

All in all, if you like spending your day more actively and you enjoy seeing old houses and other neat inventions then you won't regret visiting this place. Who knows, you might be lucky enough to eat some traditional food from locals there (like we did).
