Located in the autonomous region of Andalusia, South of Spain at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Remains from early population go back to 5500 BC and a community was built by Arabs in 711, from this time is the grand Alhambra Castle. In the 1100 century the city remained an Islamic Kingdom but mainly run by a large Jewish community. Only in 1492 the city was overtaken by force an became Catholic, eventually over time the Jewish population was expelled.
From this time we have the Cathedral built in 1504 and a beautifully designed Royal Chapel.
Here we have a true historic city with a mixture of Islamic, Jewish and Christian culture, a Mediterranean climate in the mountains.....
