This was the best hotel booking I have ever made!
It was my husband s birthday and our wedding anniversary, and I had one of those random thought processes that ended with Why not Brussels?


We noticed that within 3 minutes walk (in any direction) from wherever you are in Brussels, it does seem that there is a yet another cake or chocolate shop to help us on our journey.
Within 15 minutes of leaving the hotel, we were in the centre of Gross Markt looking at the stunning guild houses, taking photos of all the huge cartoon murals on the walls, trawling through second hand record shops (in between eating cakes), laughing at the Manneken Pis (the statue of the weeing boy) and going crazy in the Tintin Shop and Pierre Marcolini (chocolatier).
But this review is not about Brussels yes, it is an unassumingly exciting city this review is actually to highlight why this hotel is memorable for the right reasons stay here because of the vibe and the hospitality.
I appreciate that it was our special weekend but I thank them for the surprise of a room upgrade. We have never been upgraded for anything in our lives so this was a wonderful experience for us.
