Azambezi River Lodge is a beautiful hotel with stunning grounds. The rooms are spacious and well designed. I wish I had taken a picture so you could see it but instead I've added a few pictures of the grounds.

There is a free shuttle that takes you to the entrance of the park so you can see the falls. It also stops in town and at the Kingdom Hotel. It runs throughout the day. If you need taxi transportation, the hotel has available taxis at a moments notice.

The staff is gracious and happy to help. We truly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have visited longer!

The ONLY issue we experienced (not the fault of Azambezi River Lodge) is the difficulty in finding plentiful vegetarian options that were not pasta, rice, potato, pizza, egg or just salad, vegetables and fruit. Each eatery offered vegetarian options but they were the same from place to place. We found ourselves eating the same items frequently. Don't let that deter you from visiting Victoria Falls. I've traveled to 27 countries and by far Zimbabwe is one of the most beautiful. The people are also welcoming, and friendly. Zimbabwe happens to be one of the safest places to travel (assuming you leave the wildlife alone)!
