City center. It is easy to get to any destination, both by taxi and by public transport, due to the close accessibility. Courteous reception staff. Nice breakfast. AWESOME ROOM SERVICE. The toilet smells like a train station! Even in low-class hotels, I have never encountered such a thing ... yes, everyone has setbacks and mistakes. But! We, at our request, changed the number - it didn't get better.
The first room, located almost in the basement level, has a complete lack of soundproofing! The barge passing by along the canal gave the impression that it would now enter the room not only with the noise of the engine, but also with an eerie smell .... checked the windows - they were closed. The toilet was dirty and smelled accordingly. The photos attached by me can only convey the appearance, but not the smell. We called the reception. They sent a cleaning lady. Didn't apologize. The cleaning lady, without apologizing, said that she had a lot of work and therefore "maybe" missed something .... to my comment that the toilet was simply not cleaned, and not "something was missed," the lady said nothing .. . went away ... returned with a rag and spray ... smeared the dirt on the toilet, which took exactly one and a half minutes, left .... we, in shock, wiped the toilet seat with wet, alcohol wipes. In the evening, when we returned to the room, we found that someone, in our absence, had turned off the heating ... the room was cold, like a refrigerator. Nerves failed, demanded replacement. Replaced.
Fifth floor. Wow! The view of the central station was a little overshadowed by not washed windows, but we were happy with the warmth and lack of noise from the canal. Entering the toilet, the joy vanished. The stench is the same. Taught by experience, they did not call the cleaner, there were still napkins!
In the morning, after breakfast, we saw a neighbor's tray in the corridor. Well, someone is eating in the room, that's okay. It's not okay that this tray was there until 7pm! Then they took the tray ... there was a lone spoon ... until the morning.
Cleaning, luxury rooms, was made only at 15.00 and then, at our request. The explanation is the same - "a lot of work".
I don t know what happened, a year ago it was a wonderful hotel with great service. It's a pity.
