The very, absolute best meal I've ever had in my life. The best restaurant in Chicago, perhaps America, and maybe even the world. People expect this to be stuffy, but it's actually immediatley playful and accessible. The flavors are perfectly balanced and always surprising. we started with cavaiar and champagne. My father described it as devastating because once you eat here your entire concept of food is permanently altered, and you don't get to eat like this every night. Think of it like theater for your mouth. Fantastic.
