We had a terrible experience with Something Borrow...

We had a terrible experience with Something Borrowed. We rented a large arch/arbor from the store for our outdoor wedding. Our initial experience was actually great! We went into the store and everyone there was super nice and helpful and we saw the arch and knew we had to have it at our wedding. My husband called and reserved the arch and we put a down payment on it. To avoid a delivery fee, we said we would pick the arch up (even though it is very large and we would have to borrow a truck). When we were getting closer to the day, we called and asked for dimensions and the amount due. The woman on the phone was extremely rude. She would not give us dimensions and the amount due she gave us was more than we were expecting, and she could not tell us why. When we talked to another woman, she told us that there was a $10 pickup fee. So you have to pay if you pick something up, and you have to pay if you get it delivered. They did not share this information with us when we reserved the arch. Then it rained on the day of our wedding, so when we returned it, parts of it were wet. They told us that it was damaged because it got wet and that we would have to pay an additional $105 to have it repaired. Renting this arch ended up costing us $322 and the entire experience was extremely inconvenient. I would never rent anything from Something Borrowed again. Although, the arch was very beautiful.
