We have stayed here the past two times we have visited Universal. It has always been an outstanding experience and the staff has always gone above and beyond.

I think if you give a little courtesy you will get a lot. I always take the time to check everyone's favorite band which is shown on their nematic. We have found "friends" in the past couple of times staying here and this probably contributes to our "above and beyond" experience.

We are not wealthy, do not demand a lot, but area always gracious. Hospitality is generally a thankless job, so when you arrive, undoubtedly you are tired, but when they greet you with a hello and a smile, muster a smile and hello back for crying out loud.

We have stayed here for both our kids birthdays and have been rewarded with a special pin and two desserts (one delivered to the room when we got back from the park)! Also, I had not prepared well, and we overslept from our nap until 6 pm. We had Blue Man Group tickets at 8 and had not yet eaten. At 6:30, I called down and asked if there way any way we could get into the Kitchen, even though we didn't have reservations. They got us in at 6:45. When I arrived, they already knew the situation, and that it was a surprise for our kids, and they got us seated, ordered and food arrived in about 20 minutes. It was delicious. We also made golf reservations with the concierge, Matthew, and he and I corresponded several times. When we arrived at the hotel room, he had sent up some beers and playing cards! WOW! There are so many other wonderful experiences we have had there. The room is standard, clean, and fresh. The views are okay, but who goes there to hang out in the room and look out the window? The express passes are so worth staying at on site hotels. Also, this is my favorite of the Universal Hotels because of its proximity to the park.

We are annual pass holders, and I had planned to schedule another visit before Halloween, but because I can't stay at the Hard Rock, we've decided not to go to Universal unless we can stay there.
