Even though I was never severed and had my mother's bank account frozen (in trust for me the only account they could find) which they released and refunded the money the same day, they have settled my account for less than what was owed.
I am still making payments to the monies which is owed; but if I am unable to make a payment I call the rep (Joan) whom is in charge of my account and I am able to postpone my payment by a week or 2.
After paying them for 2 years (still have a year to go) they put in contact with the original creditor to have my judgment removed.
My credit score has improved, and I can not blame them for doing their job. The original start of this problem starts with ultimately me and the creditor (TFCU AVOID) whom refused to enter in my debt management agreement.
I had to learn a lesson the hard way and I hope to never get in the same situation again. Take my advice check your credit report regularly and get all pay offs in writing along with any agreement. This is the only way to make sure you don't have this happen to you.
