We recently visited The Balmoral for Afternoon Tea. Sadly the Palm Court was in the middle of renovation, but we had a lovely time on the Balcony nonetheless. Quite expensive but the service was great, the Bellini delicious and the food very tasty. Just when you think you can't eat anymore, you get to choose a treat from the cake trolley, too.

There was a harpist playing during our visit which was a lovely touch - although it was sometimes a little loud as we were right next to it. I am sure this would be fine though if it was in the Palm Court rather than the Balcony area as there would be more space.

A great time was had by all and I'll definitely go back when the Palm Court re-opens.
