The first time I used the MG Road metro station was when they had made it compulsory to use a bank card to make payments and I used my ATM card on which they charged 1.5 Lakh rupees for a Rs.150 metro card. The amount was refunded after 3-4 days after much followup during which time I barely could sleep for 2-3 hours every night - such was the mental trauma. Later the station master told that the site engineer was deployed to issue tickets at the counter as the regular ticket clerk was away for some work or was absent. The site engineer was not trained in handling the ATM swipe machine and punched in Rs.1.5 Lakh instead of 150 rupees for the metro card. I trusted them and punched in my ATM pin and the huge amount got debited.
The accessibility features of this metro station are world-class are:
Yes=Ramp access.
Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Entrance.
Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Restroom/Toilet.
