If it weren t for my employer being kind enough paying for my stay here I would have canceled my stay and left. They moved me from a different hotel as this one is closer to the office. Since I got in my room there have been issues, the first being the shower handle broke off. The handy man came for fix it but said there weren t parts for it and there was nothing else he could do besides put it back on. It wouldn t really turn for warm/hot water temperature. The lack of preparation for simple fixes like this are not his fault by any means. The rest of the stay only half of the large square shower head let out any water and had a weak flow. After messing with the handle for over 30 mins I finally got any kind of water pressure and could at least take a warm shower. Issue two is housekeeping. One day the housekeeper leaves dirty cleaning supplies in the bathroom sink. Another day housekeeping never comes by despite my request to the front desk- after noticing they never bothered to come by the entire day. I had to call the front desk to ask again hours later when I realized it was never done and they sent someone right away. The housekeeper left all of the dirty towels in the tub (the card in the room says you re supposed to put dirty towels in the tub so they know what to wash) and I once again had to call the front desk. One night I noticed what looked like dried blood on one of the pillowcases. Absolutely horrendous and disgusting. One top sheet has a big tear and the fitted sheet has holes. Is nobody checking linens?! Next issue is valet. When I was walking outside I heard tire screeching only to realize it was one of the valet drivers in my vehicle! I watched him do a California stop at a red light on the corner floor it again. I didn t even have the energy to say something, I m still in disbelief. I m lucky I have great insurance, but I ve never been so worried that I d have to use it. I ve stayed in MANY hotels and I ve never had any experience like this. At the very least the shower worked and sheets were intact. It s literally been one thing after another. I m glad others have a good stay but I absolutely cannot say the same. Having a restaurant and cafe pizza place downstairs is nice and probably why they charge so much because everything else is just awful.
