My parents have adopted from Ten Lives when it was still at the Galleria. It s a great organization, but today I had the worst experience. I went with my mother to look at cats for myself and one of the employees was extremely condescending to us. I understand that they re careful about who viewing and meeting the cats, but the tone the worker used with us made me not want to put it an application at all. She was so rude. I felt like she didn t even want to adopt a cat out and that does a huge disservice to the rescue.

Once we left, five other strangers looking at the cats immediately exited behind us and complained to us about the worker s attitude. Honestly, it s just disappointing because I am seriously looking to adopt a cat and had preferred this organization over others.
