Beautiful ice rink in the heart of downtown Pasadena, not so enjoyable when it is super crowded. A bit of crowd management could go a long way over here. The first thing that makes ice skating here difficult is that some people will join hands 3 to 4 people across and skate in a solid wall. The second thing are the training walkers that the kids use to stay standing on the ice. At other rinks, you could skate on the inside lane and avoid the beginners that hang onto the walls, but here they are blocking all skating lanes in the walkers.

On the positive side, service at the front and with the rentals is excellent.
