I ve had reliable service from IPL for the 5 years...

I ve had reliable service from IPL for the 5 years I ve lived in Indianapolis. That shouldn t go unsaid and it s why I will continue to be a customer. However, when a customer (me) requests to transfer services from one address to another, the customer service rep s only requirement is to add the new address not disconnect the old one. Instead of relaying their unique take on the definition of transfer during the transfer request, the customer has to learn about it a month and half later after automatic payments have occurred. Fortunately, IPL will remedy the situation by getting the property manager to accept the charges, but still, what a hassle. Please review your service transfer process.
