My father was only given a few months to live. We enrolled him in January. Hospice Savannah brought out a bed, oxygen, wheelchair and other things to make him comfortable and possible to get around the house and visit places near by. I actually took him down to Leopolds and he ordered a triple scoop of chocolate ice cream. He loved the young lady that came by and played the guitar. My dad would sit in the chair and sing along. Grateful Hospice Savannah was with us every step of the way. He died July 18 at home, comfortable, surrounded by family.

There are so many for-profit Hospices now, make sure you contact Hospice Savannah. They are a non profit organization started many, many years ago with a group of very devoted folks in the community. I am now a proud board member of this organization.
