I love pizza and grew up eating NYC pizza, but Lombardi's pizza just didn't do it for me. We ordered the large pie half Margherita half white. The crust was thin, but also very dry. They were cheap with the cheese. The pizza was basically flavorless. The bartender recommended that we get the Margherita but I'm glad I got only half of it because I like the white pizza better.
We also got the raspberry Italian soda. For $5, it was SUCH a disappointment. It was literally seltzer water with the tiniest drop of raspberry flavor syrup and whipped cream on top. It wasn't great. I'd never order it again.
Waiting wise, we came on a cold weekday afternoon while it was raining heavily. There was still a long wait of about 45 mins and the bar was stuffed with people waiting. At least the bartender was entertaining.
