It was our first night ever in Italy. We got the late at night after a 14 hour flight, and couldn't figure out how to turn on the lights. We called the front desk. The lady told us that the hotel is experiencing electrical problems that will be fixed shortly. We tried calling the front desk a few times later, but our calls were never answered.
We used our phone lights for showering and other needs.
An airport hotel should have 24 hour service.
Front dest employees should know about the room card master switch function.
