I have been a one-year internship student (UNED).
Very positive experience but it must be clear that it is sports psychology. There are many activities and allows you to rehearse with some content learned in the career in an applied way. Therefore you can learn a lot but a high degree of motivation is essential. Independent work is encouraged and it depends exclusively on oneself to go further.
Advantages: Learn a specific work model. Freedom (supervised) to work on the variables and practice the interventions that you consider. Social relations. Maintain a relationship with a person very expert in the field.
Disadvantages: You need a lot of motivation to get the most out of it and that can consume too much time depending on your life. Away from the most clinical practice. No contact with business, legal or administrative matters if you are interested in undertaking.
