Was given a refund in the end. Still an overall bad experience but at least they recognised their mistake. Communication around it was still super poor.

Ordered via their website, problem processing payment meant first order was cancelled.

Ordered again an hour later and had another email saying the order was cancelled.

Contacted customer services via web app who confirmed the order was cancelled and I'd receive a refund. I was told to re-order but I said after two attempts I'd order through another vendor.

Next day I received an order confirmation email. Spoke again to their customer services via web app who said that both emails related to the same first cancelled order and that the second order had been processed fine.

I asked for a refund as I felt their system errors (payment process + 2 emails confirming the order had been cancelled) as well as I checked with customer services before ordering elsewhere gave me the right to do so.

After an hour and half of back and forth with Anna from customer service (including them saying they won't offer a refund because they can't cancel the order as it was out for delivery) I was finally told she would need to speak to her supervisor before offering a refund. I will then receive an email later from them?!

They have completely ignored my consumer rights and I'm furious.

Absolute shambles of a company with horrific customer service. I will not be using their service ever again.
