I will start off by saying MOST of the staff is very friendly and personable. Trish whom works the front desk clearly does not care to work there and she is very rude. The manager Kim is very condescending and when she is discussing your very extensive bill she likes to say oh this is bare bones I.e just pay our expensive bill and be quiet. So I brought my English bulldog in for a cesarean and was charged $1600, about $700 above market price. The Doctor that performed the surgery was very personable and friendly. I brought my dog back two weeks later to have her staples removed and this is when this place became a nightmare. I left my dog there for staple removal and when I returned my dog was on the Germy lobby floor laying completely flat on Her belly. She is a large dog with breast whom was nursing at the time so I knew I had to sanitize them when I got her home before letting the puppies nurse. She skipped her afternoon meal that day which was odd and then about 7pm was vomiting and urinating on herself. I called to see what they had done to her and was told just let her stomach settle and not to worry and try feeding her in the am. A few hours later my dog was whining and miserable and I knew this was serious. A quick search brought mastitis to my attention. An infection caused by bacteria getting in through the milk ducts of the breast, Which can be fatal if not diagnosed and treated quickly. Thank God I didn t take their advice and wait until morning. I checked her breast (whom had been on that nasty lobby floor) and saw the evidence reflecting this is what my dog had contracted from the nasty hospital. At 1am same day I returned to this vet letting them know my dog had become sick from her visit there earlier and they denied that. While in their waiting room I noticed several fleas on the floor and one on my ankle. I called the vet tech in to kill them and she apologized and sprayed them with bleach. I again assured them she had been fine up until WE LEFT YOUR CLINIC THIS MORNING. No One cared and brought me a bill for $300 for Meds and an office visit! Clearly I had already diagnosed her and they confirmed it was mastitis. They would not take care of the bill or reduce it. I got my dog back home at 6am and realized She also had picked up fleas from this vet! Gave her a bath and called Them after 9 to speak with a manager. I talked to Kim whom
Refused to adjust the bill and became rude. she told Me my dog probably had gotten mastitis from my home along with the fleas. I assured her my dog has NEVER HAD fleas in her life and my home is very clean! It s ironic that the day I brought her to this office she contracted TWO things she had never had before! She offered to give us flea Treatment but would not take care of nor Reduce the bill. The next morning Mastitis caused her boob to split and bleed which caused me to rush her back into emergency the very next day. The doctors wrapped the wound and wanted to keep her over the next 3 days to give her antibiotics and change her bandages twice a day. Antibiotics and bandage changing was estimated to be $585-$750!!! Kim let me kno that that was the bare minimum they could do with the price and I found this to be price gouging. I declined their services and they tried to still charge me $85.00 for wrapping a gauze pad around my dogs boob! $85.00!!! I refused to pay since I had not authorized that. I went to a different vet and got the same treatment, antibiotics and 3 day care for $150. This place is a money pit and they do not care about your pets. They only care about the money they can collect. They got me for almost $2000 but I won t ever return. Good luck
