A perfect way to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon; the park is open 7 days a week and a must see for all people regardless of age and race to experience. VERY educational. Deep. Soul-stirring; I can't find the words to describe the experience. The museum, tour of MLK's home, and church are free to visit and parking is free. The tour of MLK's home is conducted by a park ranger; all attendants present were very informative. I made my visit on a whim on a last minute trip to Atlanta a little after 2 o'clock; the museum has a wealth of information, so I highly suggest arriving early to give yourself time to read, watch the televised recordings, and have a thorough, enjoying experience. A park is available for children. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, as the museum is located downtown and there are other places to walk around and view as well.
