My wife and I stayed in an 8th floor king suite that overlooked the Plaza. We arrived a bit late in the afternoon and went to the Chaz for a late lunch. While they were open, their menu was reduced to a brunch menu, but the lobster roll sandwich was quite good, and the more expensive burger was ok. Room service the next morning was very prompt. The eggs Benedict were very well done and the chicken fried steak and eggs were served with 2 biscuits and gravy which were very filling. We walked to dinner at Bo Links, and parking at the hotel was very easy, but the lower level parking was easy for me to miss. The staff were perfunctory but professional, the hotel was very clean, and our room was cleaned to satisfaction. My only complaint about the room was that the water pressure was a bit low on the 8th floor, but I like high pressure in the first place. Overall, I highly suggest the Raphael, and would definitely go back if I were to visit Kansas City again.
