If you're looking for a place to party with 50-60 ...

If you're looking for a place to party with 50-60 year olds, this is probably a great destination. If you're looking to relax and enjoy the beach, this is not the place to go. I think our experience may have been better had we known:
If you want a comfortable bed, you have to upgrade to 'privilege'. Otherwise, you will find yourself in a very uncomfortable bed with lousy pillows.
If you want to get some R&R, pay attention to the map and try to book yourself a room that is farthest away from the stage. Music plays late, and sound carries. Or bring a noise machine like we did.
If you want to enjoy the sound of the beach, you'll have to go to the lagoon that is maybe 3/4 of a mile north of the resort. Otherwise, you'll be listening to thumping music from the party pool from mid morning until late afternoon.
We stayed 4 nights and that was plenty - by the 4th day we were tired of the food. The food is just ok. There is a lot of selection, but the variety from day to day isn't great. Not many restaurants to chose from.
The staff was indeed very friendly and accommodating, we just weren't very impressed with the facility itself. We won't be returning to this resort.
