We brought our quaker parrot, Kiwi, to Long Island...

We brought our quaker parrot, Kiwi, to Long Island Veterinary Specialists this past Sunday. She was listless and appeared to be dying.

The staff was attentive, professional and sympathetic. The vet who treated Kiwi was knowledgable and caring. Eventually, we did have to euthanize Kiwi, but throughout the staff was there to console and comfort. In addition, fee was fair even though this was an emergency situation.

I watched other families with their ill pets and saw they were all receiving the best of medical care in addition to staff amenities.

I cannot thank Long Island Veterinary Specialists for the medical assistance they gave. Today, we received a package, and inside was a cast of Kiwi's paw prints... a wonderful memoriam that we will be able to hold onto.
