The echo put is a nicely situated hotel. The location is beautiful. The restaurant has a star and the hotel itself is a five star hotel. So we did our check in with expectations. Unfortunately the experience there was immediately bad. We were barely viewed, no warm welcome words and we received our card for the room without further explanation. How disappointed we arrived in our room. The room was nice but very dirty with lots of dust in different places. The TV was also broken. We reported this to reception but nothing has been done about it. Then we went for a drink and a snack in the restaurant. This was also a very impersonal experience. We were barely approached and when the snacks were served no explanation at all about the different cheeses we had ordered or an explanation of the type of salad served with the bread. Also no explanation about the wine. No goodbye was said when we walked away. And the next day no questions about our experience. Not even a thank you or a nice day. For a five-star hotel and a restaurant with a star, a lot can be done about the hospitality. This was a sobering experience for our day trip. I do not recommend the hotel any further, should the hospitality improve, I would like to hear from you.
