For boat dock rentals in Newport Beach (they have boat slip rentals and mooring rentals), there is no better location. It is the closest boat marina to the Newport Harbor entrance, which makes it popular. I have friends who are not members who keep their boat at Balboa Yacht Club because the facilities are top notch. They have full time dock crew to help with docking; I highly recommend their marina.
