Michael Walker Review of Hillcrest Ski and Sports

I don't know where this hate for Hillcrest is coming from, geez people. They mounted my bindings pretty cheap and even waxed them up for no reason other than they are nice people. I mean yeah, the prices are stellar, but they sure as hell aren't a rip off. And btw, if your equipment breaks and has a warranty issue, call the company that made the equipment. Hillcrest just sell the stuff, that's how most local businesses work. As far as problems with arrogance, I haven't seen it, but as a whole the team isn't super knowledgeable about the equipment, so if you want a comparison it can take a while for the right guy to show up for your questions, like when I was asking about goggle or glove comparisons, there wasn't much knowledge there. But I mean, they only get paid so much, don't expect the moon. Overall, when it comes to ski equipment, these guys and Next Adventure are my top in-store Portland picks (sorry Evo).
