It's definitely historic. The first room we stayed in had a view of a brick wall and a shower shaped like a tube. You're best bet was to throw some soap on yourself and hope the running water made it hit all the important parts. The second room had a nice street view...of construction. I knew there was a reason for the earplugs. But, it was cheap as hell and the beds were comfortable, so it's worth the value if that's what you're after. And, the elevators are the original cars from 1913, in which year they were the fastest elevators in the world. So that's kind of cool, too. You can order room service from the restaurant next door, but it's quite pricey. I'd probably stay here again, especially for the location and price.
