We checked in this past Friday and the check in area was an absolute mess and not enough places for cars to park. Once we got in our room the smoke detector wasnt even connected. Anytime we turned on the tv it was static and was barely coming in. The wifi was terrible, so I just used my data. They dont give you the hours of any of the parks or restaurants on any of the pamphlets. The arcade has a card system which my husband and I (we are both in our 20's) couldn't figure out for the longest time. Anytime we went in any of the pools there was stuff floating around in them. Outside of our room on the deck was garbage the whole time we stayed. All the restaurants and snack places were ridiculously overpriced, especially since this is a pricey resort to stay at anyways. All but one of the employees we interacted with seemed upset, annoyed, or irritated. All the days we stayed there the majority of people were highschool-college age kids who were very rude. My children, my husband, and myself had gotten bumped or pushed many times by these individuals and it made me feel like this must not be a family orientated resort, more like a frat house. We checked out today and just a while ago we noticed a $150 charge to our account from them. My husband called and wanted to speak with the manager but the lady said to leave a voicemail for her, which was pretty upsetting since we were very confused about this charge. Once he could speak to the manager, she said we got charged the $150 for "excessive cleaning", and my husband and I was appauled. We have a 3 year old and a 1 year old, we stayed for 2 nights and only slept and ate in our room, otherwise we were exploring the resort. The manager said our room took an hour to clean and it usually takes about 20 minutes. My husband and I agreed that the "mess" (which was pototo chip crumbs, cracker crumbs, and a few dells brochures" would have taken me 10 minutes to clean up. If we would have known we would get charged that much, I would have brought my own vacuum from home and made it spotless, since I guess thats what they expect from their guests, even with having kids. Oh, and the kicker? When we packed up to leave I put all the pillows, the comforter, and the sheet on the sofa to make sure none of our stuff was still in the bed at all, well, the manager said the linens on the couch contributed to the "excessive cleaning" charge. Excuse me, what?! Apparently they DONT change their linins everytime, otherwise that wpuldnt have been an issue, SO GROSS. Happy mothers day to me! Haha! This place is a JOKE. NOT FAMILY ORIENTED, NOT REASONABLY PRICED, NOT FRIENDLY, NOT SANITARY, AND CERTAINLY NOT A PLACE I WILL EVER STAY OR RECCOMEND ANYONE ELSE. If I could give this place zero stars I would.
