John Bergquist was my emergency room doctor. I went in due to severe pain in my previousley fractured ankle. We took xrays, no current fracture, so all he said was rest, ibuprophen, Tylenol & see a optometrist. No explaining of what could be causing the pain, what to do to help ease the pain, etc. Told the nurse I m unsatisfied with my paper work stating I sprained my ankle ... she said she will get the Dr. back in my room, and then she comes back saying he is refusing to see me. I asked how this is okay, and why it says sprained, her response was probably just something to print off . I ended up passing him talking about me to another doctor while i was leaving, so I went up to them. The other doctor gave me a long list of ideas and reasons of what could be causing the pain, and empathized with me as a doctor should, treated me as a patient and didn t just shove me aside.
