A review seems to be what "makes or breaks" a business these days. Which is unfortunate, since sometimes things don't always go to plan on any given day. Please bear in mind that this IS animal medicine. I had brought my dog here when she was 2yrs old. She would ANNUALLY have re-occurring allergies starting in February. Weirdest thing ever. After 4 consecutive years and numerous doses steroids and antibiotics, the vet I was working with recommended that we take her to a specialist (Pittsburgh). I wasn't convinced that this was Actually a thing, so I took her to the next best vet in Butler for a 2nd opinion.
My feelings of disappointment came from the fact that there were no complete findings. I never had any problems with the staff, they were always supportive and informational. As for the Doctors, my case was extreme. It would have been nice to have MORE of an explanation. They did everything in their means to assist me the best that they could.
I won't argue that it is very expensive to treat an animal. I paid well over $200.00 a visit during her flare ups and still had the regular visits, vaccines, for the year. It certainly does add up!
As a pet owner do your homework. Sometimes it's not easy making decisions or hearing that the pet has life long ailments.
We had to euthanize our dog due to complications of allergies. She was 12 yrs old.
Overall I would recommend this office for regular pet maintenance.
