My experience with gateway was absolutely the worst. I have never in my life done a review and felt I should let people know. If there was a no star rating I would have picked that one. I don't even want to describe the details. I came in for a early morning appointment which was a two hour job. I was giving numerous promises and deadlines. I didn't get the vehicle until late the next day after I had to initiate 3 follow up phone calls to find out what's happening. I was never given an official quote and it turned out to be 500 bucks to find one broken wire which I googled myself as a possible problem with the vechicle prior to taking it in. I thought initially I'd take it to the Toyota specialists to fix the vehicle just in case but boy I was mistaken. They couldn't find the problem after charging me 200 bucks to plug in a diagnosic computer into it that takes 10 minutes that u can buy for 60 at princess auto that can almost does the same thing. On top of that they don't have any service managers on duty on the weekends to talk too. I had issues in the past with gateway and thought I'd give them a second chance. Not again. Don't waste ur time and big bucks. Go third party or try another dealer unless you have complete warranty which many times incidentally doesn't cover everything.
