Edited review to 2 stars. Thanks for the response, the work is great - this policy still doesn't sit comfortably with me.

Was called today by ForrestBrown to inform me that "due to COVID19" any future R&D claims will require 100% of the R&D credit to be paid to FB, then the balance net of fees would be paid to the client thereafter.
My issue is not with the work done - that is done to a fantastically high standard. However, to use a global pandemic (where thousands are still dying every day) as a poor excuse to cut their credit risk and insult their customers is abhorrent.
When I aired my concerns, I was told they could make a special case for me if they asked their FD. But I'm sorry, this doesn't excuse the vile way of using COVID as an excuse to sly in policies to better their themselves while the majority of clients have their backs turned, looking out for one others.
I hope other clients will stand with me and move their business elsewhere, it's not like they have a monopoly any more.
