Last weekend stayed once again at the Lotte New York Palace. This is one exceptional property and it has remained excellent over the many years that we have stayed here. It has a wonderful central location on Madison Avenue right behind St Patrick s Cathedral. Close and convenient to Rockefeller Center, Saks Fifth Avenue, Broadway and some truly outstanding restaurants like Maloney and Porcelli next door to Cellini on 54 th Street.
The hotel is meticulously maintained and you are welcome from the moment you are greeted at the front desk by Paul orVictor, the Director of Front of the House. Victor went out of his way to ensure that our stay was top notch and in keeping with the very high quality and standards of the Lotte brand. He is a truly fine and hands on gentleman who runs a flawless operation. Prices are moderate for a luxury property in midtown Manhattan. There is an outdoor courtyard bar as well as one inside. The take out facility Pomme Palais has some of the best croissants that I have had.
