Purchased an infrared quartz fireplace by Duraflam...

Purchased an infrared quartz fireplace by Duraflame in 2017. Used it only during the winter months. Last month 2021 I heard a load pop and it burst into a flame from under the heating elements. After many attempts to receive a replacement or compensation I was denied. One representative telling me I should have taken pictures, not something that would have occurred to me at the time there was a fire in my home. One representative, Kendra Boardingham tried very hard to be helpful but said her supervisors refused any claim as the unit was out of warranty. Other representatives were just plain rude and not at all helpful. I question that there can be a time limit on a warranty when something just starts on fire.
Do not purchase any product from Twin-Star international which makes Duraflame.
