If you want to experience unique and flavorful dishes that make your taste buds sing, make a trip to the Cheel. Greeted at the door by a cheerful hostess, seated at comfortable table and chairs (high tops are available in bar area) and provided drink menus first. Waitress greeted us and took drink order shortly thereafter. Table mate is a bourbon drinker and there was a small but nice selection. Chose the Blanton s and was satisfied. I enjoyed the Yeti summer cocktail. We had no experience with Himalayan/Nepalese cuisine. Waitress patiently went through the whole menu with us. Settled on the Nepali Thali which gave us a variety of dishes to try: : bandel roganjosh, kukhura tarkari, saffron basmati rice, choice of dal, seasonal vegetables, ghew, kenema, & classic aachar. always concerned about the heat of dishes since I do not tolerate any heat at all and the dishes come with a variety of sauces from mild to eat at your own risk. Not a problem as long as I did not add the sauces. Looking forward to returning and exploring more dishes.
