aiesec in Chennai is disorganized and there is no communication between them, I mean. I arrived in Chennai at 2 am and no one came to predict me as planned. knowing the high percentage of rape, I let you imagine what a state of mind I was. Arriving at the hotel to which they had assigned me, the manager tells me that there is no place and that he had warned AIESEC, needless to say that nobody told me anything. The first meeting with the local organization with which we had to work took place after 2 weeks (I was not alone but we were 3 in the same project). You got it right, 2 weeks without doing anything but that's not all, in that first meeting we went alone without any of AIESEC to accompany us. Our project was woman impowerment but they let us teach our children the language, 1h30 a day; and we worked 1h30 a day and more we had to pay to get to school. Would you ask yourself if we were the only ones in this situation? the answer is no. 80% of projects managed in the same way. But if by chance you come up with the brilliant idea of applying in Chennai, ask for the address of the hotel where you will be staying because I have not been the only one they left on the street.
