Divorce is awful. It's not Mr. Mullaney's fault, but I don't get why the law allows a person to save to for years and then let a husband take half. I thought we should have had a simple case - we didn't need to go to court. At first, I didn't even want to hire a lawyer. I didn't have a choice since my ex want almost all the money, but he refused to chip in and pay any of our debts.

I talked to a couple different lawyers. Mr. Mullaney described the difference between a contested and an uncontested divorce. My ex and I could have saved a lot if we agreed on who got what. I think its nice that Mr. Mullaney was suggesting a way to end my case which mean't that I would pay him less. Since my husband is a jerk, that didn't happen and I spent more that I should have. We both hired lawyers and eventually ended out case at a mediation. Mr. Mullaney explained everything we did and was there to answer all my questions. I couldn't have asked for more.
