I'm in the middle of a situation with the pep boys...

I'm in the middle of a situation with the pep boys in Atl......took my truck to the shop...explained the problem specifically.....first quote 1200...told the salesman that it was too much....decided to go get it. When I got there I talked and salesman and mechanic. Mechanic recommended 3 necessary repairs ranging between $600-$700...we agreed as the salesman also saw. Called today to check the status and the salesman now tells me about a water valve leaking and how it would now cost "roughly" $1600.... huh??
