Some friends and I took our annual trip and this year we chose to travel to Aruba. Although we did not stay at the Radisson, we stayed at the resort next door. While out one evening, we decided to walk through the Radisson to view the property. The property is absolutely beautiful! There was a Carnaval celebration going on that evening. there were vendors, dancers, food, musical entertainment and a lovely pool all at the rear of the resort on the beach. We decided to visit the Radisson because we were told that it was not in all-inclusive property, such as the property where we were staying so we would be free to walk through and enjoy the festivities. Looking at the resort itself, if it were an all-inclusive resort I would definitely want to stay there when visiting Aruba again. The dancers were great, there were also 3 men on stilts in costume, who were funny and very available for photos with whomever wanted to take one. Although we did not eat the food they were cooking smelled great!....although it was $20 to eat, which I felt was a little expensive. All in all, from what I saw, the Radisson is a great place to stay when visiting Aruba especially if you are not going all-inclusive. Oh! another benefit, is the Radisson was at the very beginning of the strip so the nightly activities were very much within walking distance which is great for those who want to hang out in the evenings. Again, although I did not stay at the Radisson, from what I could see and what I experienced, this is a great place to stay.
