Sorry, I had to give this one star, if I could have given it zero I would only because I feel like I was lied to & duped from the beginning. I was going to attend here and take classes for my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education & then I switched my major to Bachelor's of Business Management. Around the time class was about to start I had some unexpected events come up and had to leave. I was also supposed to be receiving financial aid & my SSA said I was all clear when she kept calling me telling me to post in class & of course she's not going to have any record of this because she always called me from her personal cell phone. After about a month I get an email from stating that I have an outstanding balance of $2,232.01 for a class I never even took which I assure you GCU will not get a DIME of!! Of course they have some BS reason why I owe this balance and my SSA was saying that I could re-enroll & submit the proper verification documents I knew nothing of to apply financial aid to this balance & alleviate it. However, yesterday when I inquired about that she said no financial aid could be applied when 2 weeks ago she said otherwise. I feel like they are trying to cheat me out of money & for an establishment claiming to be Christian it's not fair for you to charge me 2,232.01$ for classes I didn't take. I'm currently working with my local community college so I can attend a real 2 year college & transfer to an actual 4 year University for both my Bachelor's & my Master's. Had I known what I know now, I'd done that from the beginning. Make it so bad, they refuse to submit anything confirming that I never took a class there because my SSA said it "Goes against their policy"...Right....They just think they're gonna stand in the way of me pursing my degree & they couldn't be more wrong...Save your time & money DO NOT come here!!!
