I booked a two night stay at the Wentworth to celebrate our wedding anniversary and I wish I had not. As the previous comment mentioned, the front desk receptionist was as cold as a New Hampshire winter, overwhelmed by several parties checking in. When I made our reservation I selected a King Marina view. (North of $650 per night)We checked into our room which had a wonderful view but that s about all that I can say about it. I attempted to close the blinds but one was missing all-together (pic enclosed)There is another drapery that can be raised and lowered with a chain that was similar to lowering a sail on a schooner but much louder, the drapes were very dirty ( pic enclosed) After adjusting the drapes we settled in to watch TV, the TV was frozen on Marriott s commercial channel. I called the front desk and they sent the bellman up and after unplugging the cable a few times he was able to get the TV fixed. The bathroom floor was very moldy (pic included). Due to Coronavirus housekeeping will not service your room unless you stay for three or more nights which is understandable but after having breakfast we returned to our room to find the door unlocked and the deadbolt holding the door open giving access to anyone walking by, a serious safety concern. I spoke with the G.M. Who assured me that these issues would be addressed but surprise, surprise not one issue was addressed. The hotel is seriously short staffed. We actually left on the second evening and drove the hour 1/2 home. I will send a copy of this review to corporate so that they are aware of the problems that exist here. Fairfield Inn would have been a better option.
