Was a lot better before Jim Moran passed away. Lost the customer appreciation feeling.
2/18/19 - Went to service today to have the brakes replaced. I was initially told the front rotors need to be replaced because they were not within the factory specs. I asked to please recheck because I knew that wasn't true because I previously went to an independent service facility, they measured the actual thickness of the rotor and knew they were still serviceable. They came back to me and told me I was correct. I asked how much they wanted to replace to replace the rotors. I was told it would be $400+. The parts cost a total of less than $75 for both front rotors. Needless to say, I didn't even need the rotors. What a rippoff.
The end result was they completed the job without replacing the rotors and everything was fine. Not my way of doing honest business. Shame on them.
The saving grace/silver lining to the whole episode was that I dealt with the nicest young man, Brandon Chandler. I higher recommend him as a top notch service writer.
